Course Description
Join us for an essential program on transitioning away from working with insurance contracts. We will begin with a personal story from Dr. Wakefield about her successful journey through this transition. The training will feature an in-depth look at the advantages and disadvantages of working with insurance providers versus terminating contracts. We'll examine how these choices impact different populations and client care.
You'll learn about alternative options to ending contracts, such as negotiating higher rates, and discover strategies for successfully moving away from insurance panels in your private practice. Dr. Wakefield will guide you through the step-by-step process of terminating a contract, including crucial considerations for reading contracts, notifying insurance companies and clients, and setting new rates for clients who were previously insured. Additionally, she will cover the responsibilities of being out-of-network, including how to communicate with clients, handle billing, and manage reimbursements.
This program is designed to provide you with the knowledge needed to make informed decisions and manage insurance matters effectively. Don't miss this opportunity to enhance your understanding and improve your practice!
